Here is another part of the UNIQUE ways to make pipe cleaner BOO ghost plushie series. This tutorial shows how to make a cute witch cat ghost using pipe cleaners. First, fold and wrap white pipe cleaners into vertical curved panels and glue them together to form a hollow, standing ghost body with flared edges.

Next, make a small teal witch hat from craft foam and glue two white pipe cleaner cat ears to the brim.

Attach the hat to the ghost head, then glue two shiny black eyes onto the face. Finally, use a brush with teal pastel powder to shade the bottom edges of the ghost body.

Frame-by-Frame Quick Guide

  • 00:00 – 00:03: Bend a white pipe cleaner into a long U-shape, then wrap several white pipe cleaners closely across it to form a solid, arched body panel.

  • 00:04: Cut off the excess twisted wire at the top with scissors.

  • 00:05 – 00:07: Make matching white panels and hot glue them together along their inner seams to create a hollow, flared ghost body that stands firmly on a table.

  • 00:08 – 00:09: Cut a teal foam circle with a center hole for the hat brim and glue a small teal cone into the middle to make a witch hat. Fold small white pipe cleaner triangles for cat ears and glue them to the hat.

  • 00:10 – 00:11: Create a rounded white pipe cleaner inner head support to help hold the hat securely.

  • 00:12: Glue the witch hat and cat ears on top of the ghost body, then use tweezers to glue two glossy black eyes onto the front.

  • 00:13: Dip a paintbrush into teal chalk pastel and brush soft color along the bottom ruffled folds of the ghost skirt.

  • 00:14 – 00:16: Place the finished cat ghost on a flat surface to display your cute Halloween decoration.
