How to Crochet No-Sew Bat Plushie in Witch Hat
In the last tutorial from my “crochet bat plush” series, you learned to crochet a plush foldable wings bat. This week, my ultimate recommendation is this no-sew crochet baby bat buddy plushie that you can crochet with a small witch hat, too. Choose from the red, grey and the black bat variations in this tutorial.
Makes a desk buddy with its “buddy animal” crochet body but you can also carry it around as a bag buddy. The bat plush also has the white embroidery around its eyes that make it look even cuter.
It is also low-sew and super quick to crochet using the super bulky yarn. You can learn how to crochet this plush sitting bat in purple or any other color following a FREE tutorial, written pattern and PDF pattern as well.

YO and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook).
-
YO and pull through the first 2 loops only (2 loops remain on hook). This completes one incomplete double crochet.
-
Repeat steps 1–3 four more times into the exact same stitch. You will end up with 6 loops on your hook.
-
YO and pull through all 6 loops on your hook to close the bobble.
-
Push the bobble pop-out toward the front/outside of your work so it forms a rounded foot. Continue into the next stitch with a regular single crochet to lock it in place.
