Fluffy Cute Pumpkin Plush out of Socks
This tutorial shows how to make a fluffy pumpkin plush using a purple sock. First, cut off the foot section of a fluffy sock. Stuff the sock with filling and tie the top closed with thread, leaving some fabric at the top.
Next, use a needle and thread to go through the center and wrap around the sides to create pumpkin sections. Finally, wrap twine tightly around the fabric at the top to make the pumpkin stem. Shape the plush with your hands to finish the cute fall pumpkin.

Frame-by-Frame Guide
-
Frames 00:00 – 00:01:
Lay the purple fluffy sock flat and cut across the middle with scissors to keep the foot section. -
Frames 00:02 – 00:03:
Fill the sock with plush stuffing. Tie thread tightly below the top edge to close the ball, leaving the extra sock fabric sticking out at the top. Cut off the excess tying thread. -
Frames 00:04 – 00:07:
Thread a needle. Push the needle from the bottom center up through the top center, loop the thread around the outside, and pull it tight. Repeat this around the pumpkin to create ridges and define the segments. -
Frame 00:08:
Tie off and knot the thread securely at the center so the pumpkin segments hold their shape. -
Frames 00:09 – 00:10:
Take jute twine and wrap it tightly around the exposed sock fabric at the top, working all the way up to form the stem. Secure the end of the twine. -
Frames 00:11 – 00:14:
Gently curve the stem and squeeze the plush with both hands to shape it into a finished round pumpkin.
